You Live in This City is a photography book by Yoshiaki Okuyama, a photographer and film director who has continuously expanded his expressive range through both personal work and high-profile client projects since his debut in 2010.

This book compiles a long-running series originally published over nearly three years in the magazine EYESCREAM. Shot exclusively with a Polaroid camera, the project gained widespread attention for its distinctive approach and for revealing unexpected, vivid expressions from its subjects through carefully built relationships and dialogue.

Each photograph emerges from a session-like encounter between Okuyama and his subjects, resulting in portraits that feel intimate, spontaneous, and deeply personal.
