Description
This collaboration T-shirt is part of the UACG(United Arrows) × Dragon Head collection, featuring artwork from Minetaro Mochizuki’s iconic survival manga Dragon Head, originally serialized from 1994 to 1999.
For this project, the original comic cover visuals have been remastered by Mochizuki himself and reproduced as wearable artwork. The full series covers all ten volumes, with this model representing Volume 1.
To faithfully recreate the atmosphere of classic 1990s graphic T-shirts, the print uses nine separate silk screen layers, producing depth and texture similar to the original comic cover. Gradation effects are reproduced using halftone techniques, while thicker ink application creates subtle surface relief reminiscent of vintage prints.
The T-shirt body uses a 6oz heavyweight cotton tubular construction, made without side seams for comfort and durability. The fabric intentionally develops a slightly twisted, vintage-like texture over time, allowing both fabric and print to age beautifully through wear.
Designed as a unisex piece, sizing ranges from standard to relaxed fits, making it easy to coordinate with both wide pants and slimmer silhouettes.
UACG promotes the concept of “anime T-shirts that are not disposable,” creating apparel meant to be worn and appreciated for many years through careful material and production choices.
